Rice Porridge with Vegetable

Yesterday my friend and I made ​​porridge for dinner, usually these foods should be eaten at breakfast. But it does not matter because since durable rain tonight, so warm porridge could be the right choice of cold weather.
Based on some porridge recipe that I know, I prefer to make a recipe based on ingredients that I like and easy to find. so I'll make rice porridge with some vegetables in it.  Here's the recipe:

Ingredients: 
  -  1 cup of rice 
  -  1 liter of water
  -  chicken or beef broth to taste  
  -  1 carrot, cut into small dice  
  -  150 grams of mushrooms, cut into small dice 
  -  150 grams of corn  
  -  1 bay leaves  
  -  1 cm ginger, mashed  
  -  1 small garlic, mashed  
  -  1 small lemongrass, crushed  
  -  salt to taste  
  -  pepper to taste  
  -  1/2 small of union, cut into small dice  
  -  Chopped spring onions  
  -  flour fried chicken, cut into small pieces 
Instruction:  
i used rice cooker to make this porridge 
  
  1.  Wash and drain the rice  
  2.  Boil the rice with 1 liter of water in the rice cooker   
  3.  Add some chicken broth, bay leaves, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, salt, pepper
       and union.
  4.  After 30 minutes add carrot, mushroom, corn.
  5.  If you need more water, add some more and stir it.  
  5.  It will be cooked for about 1 hour, or until the porridge not too thick and not
       too thin. Just between in.  
  6.  Serve porridge in a deep bowls. Garnish with chopped spring onions and flour
       fried chicken.    
  7.  Add more pepper and salt if you like.  
  8.  Serve for 3-4

We enjoyed this meal while listening to the rain, the situation outside is cold, but the body still feels its warmth. What a lovely day :)
